Several years ago I built a website for our little shop.  This was published at www.bettatrading.com.au
We have been getting increasing numbers of people from other countries visiting our shop's  website.  These people would have little interest in a little shop in a small town in South Australia, so I am constructing this site as an international version of our local site for people from other countries who might be interested in our fish fact sheets.

This is not a mirror site although it overlaps with our shop's website.

This site will concentrate on facts and opinions about fish.
It also has a guest book where people can say what they like.  Any rude or illegal comments will be removed, but I welcome other peoples' ideas including disagrement with what I has written, and suggestions for improvement.  I will take these seriously and respond where appropriate.

The Anabantids include the gouramis as well as the Siamese Fighting Fish, Betta splendens which this web site is named after.
The Barbs come next in the top menus followed by the Catfish, Danios, Livebearers, Loaches, Australian Rainbow Fish, Rasboras and then the Sharks.
There so many Tetras that I have split the menu into 2 to accomodate them.
Some fish don't fit into any of the categories so they are included as Miscellaneous fish.
